Coatings and Elastomers: Elastocoat AC


Demonstrating the benefits of BASF's vertically integrated approach to R&D, Elastocoat AC is the newest product in the BASF family of pipeline protection products. Developed for water pipeline protection, Elastocoat AC is a two-component, 1:1 by volume polyurethane system that also offers outstanding protection for energy infrastructure. Elastocoat AC meets AWWA C222 specifications and is NSF 61/ANSI certified.


Elastocoat AC for onshore pipelines offers excellent abrasion resistance, strong cathodic protection and is available as an internal or external pipeline coating.
